Neolithic Era (New Stone Age)
Furrows
In the New Stone Age, people learned to sharpen sticks to use as tools to make furrows in the soil. Once this task was completed, seeds were poured into the ground and eventually plants would grow. Who new a stick could be of use to make something this important, food.
Neolithic Agricultural Revolution
People started to begin using fertilizers for growing food in the Neolithic Era. Using fertilizer helped the pace and quality of food produce. This was the beginning of farming in general but obviously later, helped the people with having the problem of not having enough food to eat.
Villages
People now began to live together in small villages. Eventually villages grew bigger, but at this point the popularity of villages had just begun. Having villages made it easier for people to work together to get tasks done. These tasks include cooking and farming.
